Discovery & Assessment
Being well informed about your group claims activity and overall plan expenditures is critical to projecting and planning for the future. With advanced technology and industry expertise, Apex will take volumes of claims data, drill it down to provide insight and then use this knowledge to negotiate the best plan available. We review your current arrangements and determine how to best present your plan to the marketplace, seeking the highest quality, cost-effective outcome. This labor intensive process includes evaluating the need for plan enhancements, analyzing group trends, gathering claims history and pursuing details of catastrophic claimants on your behalf. We retain the services of a Medical Director, BS RN, to obtain and understand the catastrophic medical conditions within your group. This ensures your employees' privacy and HIPAA compliance while providing us needed insight to negotiate aggressively and communicate facts to underwriters. We reevaluate all plans at least annually or as often as necessary for your particular situation to ensure that your plan is always working its best for you.

Underwriting Experience
We analyze the results. We present our findings in a professional, easy-to-understand report that ensures you are comparing apples to apples to evaluate all the benefits and funding options available to your group. We engage our retained Actuary on your behalf when intensive analysis is needed. We have learned that the marketing and underwriting process allows us to continue to gauge our methods and results against others to remain competitive.
Communication & Education
Not only do we keep our client's plan relevant based on employee needs, we'll maintain a dialogue that keeps us aware of changes in the organization. Two-way communication is necessary to ensure that every customer is aware of new trends in the industry.
We guide our clients through the process of understanding and explaining benefits to their employees. Easy-to-understand enrollment, and knowing how best to address questions or concerns - it's all part of the education process. We partner with you as an extension of your Human Resources Department to provide easy-to-read benefit summaries, plan communications, to manage employee meetings, and field benefit questions throughout the plan year.
Proactive Service Platform
Apex is committed to "raise the bar" of standards in the employee health benefits industry. Fueled by competition and a desire to deliver more-than-expected results, communication with carriers is ongoing to complete the contract and support you through installation and renewal. Though we prefer monthly meetings, at a minimum, we'll request quarterly reviews to discuss claim trends and administrative concerns

We will facilitate health coaching, worksite programs, wellness activity, and education; all with a goal of improving the health of the group - positively impacting cost.
